Coleshill Built Heritage Webinar – 27th July 2021 11:30am

I hope you are having a lovely week!

I am writing to you today to let you know that the next HS2 webinar will take place online on 27th July at 11:30am. The event will present the results of the recent analysis of the historic buildings in the area of the former Coleshill Manor at Coleshill. The investigation gave us the opportunity to study a group of buildings built in connection with the Coleshill Park Estate and uncovered surprising evidence.

Welcome Back Fund – Coleshill are looking for Stall Holders & Entertainers

Coleshill have been awarded a ‘Welcome Back Fund’, amounting to a few thousand pounds. It is being managed through North Warwickshire Borough Council, in collaboration with the Town Council and Love Coleshill (with its free download loyalty App) .  There are plans to put in three broad ideas:

Town Hall

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Stay-a-While Saturdays – the first one will be on the 14th  August and all will run from 10:30am to 3pm, centered around the Town Hall

Wander-Round-Wednesdays – the first one will be on the 18th August and will also run from 10:30am to 3pm (for consistency), centered on St Peter’s Walk

Beautification – this will involve cleaning, weeding, repainting, etc. as well as more planting, bunting and posters.

There will be marketing materials for local shops available soon and we are looking for any contacts /leads for the following:

  • For the Stay-a-While Saturdays, we need any contacts for any specialist or different retailers who might be interested in a pitch, which will be in Town Hall from 14 August for 6 Saturdays up to March 2022.
  • For Wander-Round-Wednesdays, we need any for any smaller traders or pop-up retailers who might be interested in a stall which will be on St Peter’s Walk from 18 August for 15 Wednesdays up to March 2022.  (A 16th event will be a Thursday on 25 November for the Late Night Shopping).
  • To support the Wander-Round-Wednesdays, we need any contact details for entertainers of all sorts to perform on St Peter’s Walk within the 10:30am to 3pm slot.
