About the Mayor:

Cllr. Sue Wallace achieved a notable record in the 2015 local elections in that she polled the highest number of all candidates, despite having stood as an Independent (not Party politically supported) candidate.

She is known to many in the town professionally as a funeral director with Gascoignes of Coleshill.  In addition, she is highly renowned as an actress with the Coleshill Drama Group and a  regular supporter of Twinning Association events involving the French twinned town of Cassieu.

On committees, Sue has previously chaired the Civic Amenities Committee, been vice chairman of Outdoor Amenities Committee and now is a member of the Community & Environment Committee.  As the Mayor in office, she is also a member of the Memorial Park Working Group.
